Cedar Book Club

4th Wednesday of the month at 10:30am in Social Hall
Mercy in the Margins
We are a community of Christians who believe that "loving our neighbor" starts with understanding their stories. While our faith is our foundation, our reading list is wide-ranging and worldly. We gather once a month to explore the "mirrored worlds" of historical fiction, diving into the lives of others across different cultures and eras—from the courage of the Lion Women of Tehran in Iran to the grit of families surviving the American Dust Bowl.

Our goal is to foster empathy and gain a deeper understanding of the diverse human experience through the lens of history. Whether it’s a story of survival, friendship, or political change, we seek to find the universal truths that connect us all. All are welcome for coffee, conversation, and a journey through the pages of history.
